Mission and Purpose

  The mission of the Addison Park District Parks and Recreation Foundation  is to support and enhance the Park experience for all Addison Park  District residents through tax-deductible donations and fundraising . 

 A primary purpose of the Addison Park District Parks and Recreation Foundation’s is to provide financial aid for park district residents who wish to participate in park programs but are unable to due to personal economic challenges.  This is accomplished through a scholarship program which is managed through a working relationship between the Addison Park District and the Foundation. Additionally, the Foundation is in place to provide volunteer opportunities and advocacy for the Addison Park District.
